+clockdoc52
Hi! Maybe you could help me out or put me in contact with someone that can. My name is Larry Cooper. I am an elementary teacher near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania of the United States. For a third grade class project, we would love to place our travel bugs in a geocache in your country. We would love this travel bug to move across your country so we can learn more about your beautiful country plus some world geography. If you can take pictures for us along its way, we would be grateful. We would love to hear from any teacher or anyone that might want to help us out and we would reciprocate the idea for you or a class and place a travel bug sent to us. Thank you from a fellow geocacher & teacher, clockdoc52 We would like to be in as many Scandinavian & Baltic countries as possible. Quote Link to comment
+mousekakat
Not a teacher, but a cacher and a parent to a child in the third grade here in Sweden... would that do? Naomi Quote Link to comment
+ly2kw
Not a teacher either, but I can place the travel bug(s) in Lithuania. We have a friendly geocacher community here and I am sure folks will move the travellers along taking pictures and maybe adding some stories about places those bugs visit. paavoala
That's a great idea and initiative for growing geocacher community and help kids to study geography with fun! Everything that ly2kw told about Lithuania goes for ESTONIA too. Feel free to send some geocoins or TB-s over here. We'd be happy to place them into nice Estonian caches, which are all listed in Geocaching.com as well. Actually, there's a cache meant for this purpose in Seattle - sending travellers from US to Estonia - see http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...3e-231175b9fe57 Or if You prefer, I can give You my mailing address and receive the travellers via mail. If interested, send me an e-mail from my GC profile. Quote Link to comment
