Hiking along the Mediterranian Sea

I'm planning on travelling to southern parts of Europe this summer (Italy or Greece, etc..)

 

Any good hiking places over there?

 

Any good places (hotels/lodges)?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

There are lots (and lots and lots and lots and lots!)

 

I'd try asking on the relevant country forums.

 

You could also do worse than have a look at a relevant travel guide such as Walking in Italy by Lonely Planet.

Personally, I 'd recommend walking in the UK - we've got the Lake District, the Peak District, the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia to name but a few of our excellent walking areas that have fully developed tourist industries - and don't forget the £ is currently taking against the $US...

Thanks for your input Mike. I was mainly thinking of Italy and Greece.. when I looked at the Italian forum I was disappointed by the number of read posts to the number of replies!

 

It is a good idea, however to try and post it like you said in the corresponding forum.
