+goldpot
Pacific (SE Pacific to be precise) ...mmmmm. I posted a coords in the SE Pacific asking for all the caches in a 1000 miles radius, only 24 showed up and none of them appears to be the one. Must be very VERY isolated! Or is it on New Zealand? +hobgoblinkiteflier
Yay! I found it! It's Easter Island Cache GCB357. It certainly is remote, and very hard to find by scrolling through Google Earth. Quote Link to comment

Here's one a little closer to home (well you could hardly get further away ) It's a giant letter 'A', but where? Quote Link to comment

Pajaholic
Atlanta Fulton County Stadium according to Google Maps, but when seen in Bing "Bird's Eye View", it seems to be part of the car park for Turner Field, which is just South of this. The cache is Aaron's Home. Geoff Edited January 21, 2010 by Pajaholic Quote Link to comment

And if I'm right......someone else dive in, I still aint got one ready Ding! If nobody minds, I'll dive in for the next as well: Another airfield, another cache. +GAZ
Cheers Pajaholic.............I spent ages looking at aerial photos of airfields for the last piccy..............now I am gonna have to do it all again Suppose you want the ICAO code as well, eh? Quote Link to comment

Pajaholic
Flippin loads to go through yet......unless there is a teensy-weensy clue? Coffee time clue: If The Bard flew microlights, he'd probably have learned to fly here! Cryptic clue: Even great barnstormers love this airfield. Quote Link to comment
+Madam Cholet
The airfield is Long Marston, Warwickshire Cache is The Greenway - Ballast GC1DFAW Edited January 24, 2010 by Madam Cholet Quote Link to comment
Pajaholic
The airfield is Long Marston, Warwickshire Cache is The Greenway - Ballast GC1DFAW Ding! Long Marston airfield, home to the Avon Microlight Club and the Freedom Sports Aviation microlight school, is just a few miles South of Stratford-upon-Avon. The cryptic clue I gave should have given this one away since Even Great Barnstormers Love this airfield spells out the ICAO code of Long Marston - EGBL. The two modes of transport that are not aviation are rail and cycling since the Greenway is part of the National Cycle Network and follows a disused rail bed past the airfield. Over to Madam Cholet... Quote Link to comment

+mtn-man
So where's this unusual feature and what's that cache called? FYI, the rectangle on the north part of the outfield line is a section of the outfield wall where Hank Aaron's home run ball went over the fence and hit the stadium wall for his record breaking 715th home run. Yep, I've visited that cache. They left that section of fence and wall from the old stadium. Edited January 28, 2010 by mtn-man Quote Link to comment
