SLO Trekker Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Here it is! Icon: Currently in the production pipeline. Size is 42 mm by 3 mm with imitation hard enamel. Trackable with icon, of course. Choice of finish will depend on how the samples come out. I went a little more traditional this time with the classic round design. There is also engraving on the rim. Not asking for sales or trades. Just thought everyone might enjoy a sneak peek. Cheers! PS: If you happen to see any typos or mistakes, by all means speak up quickly! Quote
UFgatorgirl Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) nice looking coin. i love the quote..never thought it would pertain to geocaching. Edited February 25, 2009 by UFgatorgirl Quote
TeamEccs21 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Great looking coin. We would like to talk trade for our personal when you are ready. Quote

LadyBee4T Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Again I love the boot tread with your name! They did a great job! I love that quote and have used it in some of my online logs. Especially in those logs where you could have said that sometimes the shortest route isn't the quickest route! LOL Quote
fox-and-the-hound Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Looking good! Thanks for sharing Quote
Crowesfeat30 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 nice looking coin. i love the quote..never thought it would pertain to geocching. Hah! I had a cache titled "The Road Less Traveled" & had the whole poem quoted on the cache page - properly with authors name etc... CF30 Quote
geocachingdragon Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 very cool design also like the boot print with name well done Quote
Droo Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Way to go Marc.... having followed your footprint in the field and ducked your cachemobile for FTFs makes this coin a bit menacing. Rgbgal adds that you should alter the quote ever so slightly to, ".... I took the one less traveled by - and got the FTF." Quote
AtwellFamily Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 You said to mention types and such.... 1. Is the quote suppose to be "and I - I"? 2. No where does it say "trackable at geocaching.com" that needs to be on the coin somewhere. separate question. Is there text on the Lic plate? Quote
SLO Trekker Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Way to go Marc.... having followed your footprint in the field and ducked your cachemobile for FTFs makes this coin a bit menacing. Rgbgal adds that you should alter the quote ever so slightly to, ".... I took the one less traveled by - and got the FTF." That would be cute. I like the thought of it a lot, but it would change the meaning too much and I would lose one of the underlying themes of the coin. But pass along to Rgbgal that I like how she thinks!! By the way, when do we get to see YOUR first geocoin??? Quote

The "trackable" wording is part of the text engraved on the rim. And there is text on the license plate. Quote
