I had never heard of 'dipping' until this week.

Not surprised,  "dipping" was from years ago, when folks had to  Drop a trackable into the cache, then Retrieve it if they were going to have it "visit" each one they found.

 - Today, we have the Visit log that saves those extra key strokes.     :)

You visit the cache with each Found it  log you write  through the "visit" action in your inventory.

Sorry, I don’t see a visit button. ??  Is it on the trackable home page?

It's on the page where you log the cache. It's the same place where you can drop the trackable into the cache.

Exactly where depends on what method you're using to log caches: app (and which one), website, etc.

Thank you! I am using the app so confusing (and can’t see it well) left readers-ha! I will check it out on my laptop. Thank you for the help both of you!

trackable.thumb.jpg.702392e0dec3f4f86b0d6c966b78eda4.jpg Then click on "yours."

You are right - the app is confusing. You would think "yours" means trackables you own -- but in this case, it means trackables in your possession.
