+SkellyCA Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I have a Magellan Triton 400; I love mine; I download caches from the site into Magellans software Vantage Point, then into my T400. I get most of the info on the cache page(like paperless caching)... What I get on my Triton is… 1. Name 2. Cache Type 3. Coordinates 4. Distance from current location 5. Hint 6. Short Description 7. Long Description What you will not get is… Size of the cache; I work the size into the file name when I save it; I tack on a 1-5(1 smallest, 4 is biggest, 5 is mystery) and the logs They are easy to use and accurate. I've never been more than about 10 feet off The bad side... Some people have had problems with them, but reading these forums, people have had problems with every unit. I guess the Magellan customer support is bad; I've never had to use it; though is is quite a bit of good help on the Triton forum Quote Link to comment

Magellan Support or Lack thereof Magellan Support Does it Exist? Fed UP with Magellan Repair Support Magellan Tech Support Sucks Magellan Support Pathetic Magellan vs. Garmin Then buy a Garmin, or check out the Delorme PN-40. Quote Link to comment
