Location not reflecting change

Hi, Geocaching.com.

 

I have been a member here for a while.

I recently moved.

I updated my profile to show my new address.

While it shows ok, when I request a map...

It shows mileage from my home location based on my previous address.

 

Do I need to change it somewhere other than in my profile?

Here's what you do:

 

1) Go to www.geocaching.com

 

2) On the far left side of the screen, click on "My Account"

 

3) On the far RIGHT of the NEXT screen, click on "Update Home Coordinates"

 

Power up your GPS and wait for it to find a satellite. Once it does, enter the coordinates shown. My home coordinates will bring me back to right here in front of my PC if I ever get lost.

 

That should take care of it for you.

It [still] shows mileage from my home location based on my previous address.

Click on the Update Home Coordinates link on your My Account Page.

 

Enter your new coordinates.

 

Click the "Show map for these coordinates" button.

 

After confirming that the map is correct, click the "Mark my home coordinates" button. (This is the step I think most people forget.)
