+elrojo14
You would think bomb squads would be able to get a free premium membership and be able to check to see if there is a cache nearby before they blow it up. I think they just want to blow things up. Quote Link to comment
+Let's Look Over Thayer
I think they just want to blow things up. Yeah, well...I can relate to that. But surely there's got to be something around that's more exciting to blow up than a chapstick container? Quote Link to comment
+ZSandmann
I've heard of several ammo cans being blown up but this is a first. A chapstick container??? How much explosive could you really fit in a chapstick? And what is the deal with the mention of three containers? Quote Link to comment

I think they just want to blow things up. Groundspeak gives free access to the law. They also offer to assist them as I recall. However, this is an on going problem and the best we can do to help minimize the frequency is to be aware of where we place what. I know a micro seams rather non-threatening but if placed in the wrong location, it can be treated as a threat. It also helps to keep relations with the law so they are more aware of us (better yet, play along)! Regardless, once someone becomes concerned... there isn't much hope of adding logic to their list of facts. Quote Link to comment
charliecacher
Your right people are scared and when that happens logic is unfortunately look passed. I hope the bomb squad will pay attention more often, but from the numerous stories it looks like they haven't so far. Quote Link to comment
