JDSavannah Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Hi! I've just gotten into geocaching and I'm really quite bad at it. My first geocaching friend lives very far away and can't jet to Savannah to help me. So, I'd love to meet an experienced geocacher in the Savannah area who would be interested in going "out in the field" with me a few times as I try to figure this out. I can usually find the location, but then I'm all thumbs at actually locating the cache. Experience (with someone experienced) is needed. I'm very fond of the caches that require longer walks in parks, etc., because I can take my dog with me, but I'm not picky. Seriously. Any takers? Quote Link to comment

Thank you! I don't know that I have questions, per se--it's really my lack of practical experience. And I get a little frustrated. So my thought was that if I went out a few times with someone who really had a feel for finding the caches and wouldn't mind my incessant questions, I'd be in good shape to go solo. You know, North Augusta's not terribly far away. I shouldn't have limited my post just to Savannah. Don't know if you'd ever be interested in heading out for part of day with a girl from Savannah with an unusually large-yet-shy dog (though he can stay home, if necessary), but I'd very appreciative if you'd consider it. Lunch and beer could be arranged. (Yeah. I'm not above bribing.) Quote Link to comment
