Is there a URL where a cacher can see his ranking with the number of finds he/she has compared to everyone else who is a member?

 

I know I accessed his website once but I can't seem to find it again.

Okay, I'll ask. Why would you want be removed from that ranking? No criticism, just curious.

For the same reason that I'd prefer to remove the find numbers from my GC account. It isn't a competition for me and I'd rather not be involved in the competition of others. How many I have found is only my business.

 

That said, I am not going to dwell on it. It is what it is.

Okay, well to each his own, but why then even log the "found it" on the website? Why create the stats in the first place if you don't want to those numbers to be considered in the global stats?

 

Or is it just an easy way to track and record what you've done? Again, no criticism, just curious.

I still want to share my experience with the cache owner and other cachers. It would be nice if I could opt out of the competition by hiding my find count. It's about the journey, not the numbers. That and yes, it is a whole bunch easier to keep track of what caches we have visited when we log finds. The site is organized around them.
