My guess, though I haven't seen it, is that it's a signature item that KnuBro leaves in caches he finds. Quote Link to comment

As a courtesy you could email KNUBRO and let them know that you picked up their canoe #12. I often enjoy getting emails from folks about the caches that they find my sig items in. I leave many types of things. I hid a very cool cache that had several items in it originally. The items had the GC# on them of the cache they were in and I get emails from folks who find them in other caches. The contact we have with other cachers through our signature items is actually quite fun. Quote Link to comment
