Better to attach some sort of clip to the unit itself and then clip the GPS to a shoulder strap or something. Quote Link to comment
+dakboy Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Depends upon the type of antenna. Quad-helix antennas, from what I've gathered, like to be "upright". When it's not in my hand, I put my MeriGold in the chest pocket of my jacket. Patch antennas prefer to be flat, the same position as when you're holding them in your hand & looking down at them. Some people clip them on top of the shoulder strap of their backpack. Quote Link to comment
