+harrogate hunters
Anyone noticed ? When I see a new cache appear I generally click on the Streetmap link on the cache page and there was a map with an arrow pointing to the cache location.... Streetmap seems to have been updated and the arrow has now disappeared... Any solutions ? Quote Link to comment
+Munkeh
you mean this arrow? Quote Link to comment
+sham69
This is a real pain as i plan my caching route using street map as it gives foot paths and bridleways Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
you mean this arrow? Yes. Doesn't work for me, either. However, the 'Draggable Map' bit is nice! Quote Link to comment
+Lydford Locators
Yes we always check the Streetmap arrow, we'll be lost (literally) without it. A solution would be appreciated here too. Quote Link to comment
Deceangi
Streetmap have made changes to their site, which has afected the GC link with the arrow displaying the location of the cache. This has been reported to Groundspeak who are going to sort it out. As a stop gap you could always use Map It just follow the bookmarlet instructions, and all you have to do is highlight the coordinates press the button and hey presto Streetmaps with the Arrow Quote Link to comment

Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
It may not be a Groundspeak problem as I used a hotels link for streetmap earlier today and their arrow had also vanished. So it isn't confined to this website. Quote Link to comment

+The Blorenges
The Mapit link is invaluable... as is Edgemaster's map script for Firefox. Have a look at my resources page for more Firefox links and other very useful map links (if you are thinking of placing a cache that is.....). +sham69
Just received this from streetmap Thank-you for your email. We have identified a few issues with the arrow pleacement (in no small part with help from feedback such as yours), and hopefully the necessary fixes will be in place in the very near future. Again, thanks for the feedback. Regards, The Streetmap team. Quote Link to comment
