+Mark&Zip
If this question has been asked numerous times in the past, I apologize. I searched and didn't find a good answer. Is there any particular reason why past logs are limited to 5 in pocket queries? I know I can get more if I download the GPX file for a cache but it would be nice to be able to pull more with PQ's. That said, I appreciate the work that the folks at Groundspeak do and am glad that there is a site like this. Thanks, Mark Link to comment
+StarBrand
It think it is a bit arbitrary. I think it has to do mostly with 2 factors. 1 is overall size of a PQ the other is the amount of time it takes the PQ to be put together. Link to comment

I personally like to carry 10 logs on my PDA when I'm out caching. The best way to accumulate logs if you want more than 5 is to use a program like GSAK, when it gets a new PQ loaded, it updates the actual cache info then just adds to the logs, then you can export that to your PDA, GPS, and everything else in a format you like. Thanks Potato. Thats what I'm working towards I guess. I'm just getting started with GSAK and Cachemate. I guess I didn't think about GSAK adding to the logs that I already have as a cache is updated. I'm just finding that its nice to have all the help I can get. Mark Link to comment
+trainlove
There is a GSAK macro that will get the logs, all the logs, I think. It will take forever if you run it on many caches. It will get you banned or chastised if you try to use it faster than it's written. You can get 20 past logs on one cache at a time by clicking on the download GPX for one cache at a time.
