+Team Taber
I bought National Geographic Topo! Explorer deluxe, with the understanding that I was getting topo maps for the whole US. When I down loaded it, I soon realized that I paid $60.00 for 25 superquad map credits. These few map credits only covered two counties in Georgia. I then contacted customer support, and recieved no help, they just verified my story. They also informed me that I could purchase more superquads. USELESS!! I just wanted everyone to know before they got ripped of like I did. Quote Link to comment

+dakboy
http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/product/247/4432/120.html TOPO! Explorer gives you the freedom to browse a seamless nationwide set of topographic maps, aerial imagery, and a unique hybrid of the two, for the ultimate in terrain visualization. When you are ready to print, customize, or connect to a GPS, simply download the exact maps you need using map credits. This package includes 25 credits. TOPO! Explorer Deluxe includes nearly 2,000 USGS 1:100,000 scale maps covering the entire United States (1:250,000 in Alaska and Hawaii) on two DVD-ROMsSo...where are your DVDs? Perfect for planning back road excursions and outdoor adventures. When you need more detailed maps, use the 25 included map credits to download SuperQuads. Seems pretty clear there that you're only getting the 25 SuperQuad credits. You definitely didn't download 9.4GB of data (2 DVDs - you'd remember that) - so perhaps you've got DVDs coming in the mail w/ the 1:100K topos? Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
A better buy is the state series, which will give you all the 1:24K maps for a state or region. Quote Link to comment
+trainlove
A better buy is the state series, which will give you all the 1:24K maps for a state or region. And Back Roads Explorer, which gives you the whole USA on 17 CD's. But it's only 1:100K scale, may matter depending on what you need. Quote Link to comment
