+ECplus3
Just came across this tonight and thought I'd share it. Groundspeak has introduced a quick reference method of writing links to any part of their family of websites called coord.info. Instead of typing out the whole URL for the coin's page description, for example: http: //www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB2MK54 I simply type: http: //coord.info/TB2MK54 (remember to omit the space I have added) The same goes for geocaches: http: //coord.info/GC1234 and waymarks: http: //coord.info/WM1234 Quote Link to comment

+Jackalgirl
Sweet! That's an awesome feature -- thanks to Groundspeak for enabling it, and thanks to you for pointing it out! BTW, if you want to display URLs or BBCode without the Forum software trying to actually process it, use the following BBCode: [code] whatever you want to type <left bracket>*/code] The code and /code tags tell the BB to display what's between them in non-proportional font (e.g., Courier) without trying to process it, sort of like the HTML <pre></pre> tags, but it its own "Code frame". Lastly -- and this is off-topic, I'm afraid -- I don't believe I've mentioned how much I like your avatar. I'm a BIG fan of Hellboy. : ) *This should be a "[". The BBCode is not very smart.
