Hello folks... newbie here in San Diego, Ca. Just received a 76CSX for Xmas and am full tilt into geocaching. I have 10 finds since Xmas day. Quite the steep learning curve, several visits to locations ending in frustration until I began to figure things out. I am proud to say that I eventually conquered those caches that were kicking my butt. What have read so far here is great, tis is going to be fun!

 Hi, Welcome to the world of fun and frustration. When you get a few more under your belt and feel good, plan a trip to Yuma, AZ. We have a few fun caches...........and a ton of number caches................... :P

Thanks for the welcome G-X. Funny you should mention coming to Yuma.... my son and I will be heading that way this month sometime. He is in the police academy here and needs to get larger mags for his Glock and he can get them in AZ but not in CA. I'll drop you a line when we head that way.
