Seems to just be mentioned but nothing about real life experience. Anybody using lithium and how does it compare to the Nimh's? What brands etc.. Quote Link to comment

I use Lithium batteries and the unit and it works fine my software has a setting for lithium batteries as well do you have the latest version installed?? Quote Link to comment

+Bad Duck Posted December 27, 2008 Author Share Posted December 27, 2008 A bit more research I did. Being into r/c planes and the lipoly batteries there I was thinking along that lines. Or a lithium ion as in my explorist. But I see that the Oregon takes a non rechargeable AA lithium battery. About two bucks a battery. So I'll join the club and use the Nimh rechargeables.
