UKCacheMag
Im still a relative muggle to this, and on boxing day need to convert my family... We are looking for a cache that can be a good insight around Leamington Spa or Kenilworth. Im thinknig of the one in Jephsons Gardens.... Any advice or recomendations please? Quote Link to comment
Bear and Ragged
Not done it, but knowing the area, and reading the cache page and logs, it could be a good one. However. Over Christmas/New Year hols - Muggle Central!!! Warwick? There's a couple of multi's that require wandering around the town to get the clues... Many eyes etc (miss all the clues! ) Edited December 19, 2008 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
Bear and Ragged
Spa Trek 1, 2 and 3. in Leamington 3 is in Newbold Common, so a bribe for any children... Castle View, good view of tKenilworth Castle (I see you've done Castle Chase) Humpty Dumpty close by -VERY snaky! Hollow Visage -bit of a walk, but well worth it. Check the river for flooding! What do you like cache-wise/ search-wise, how many of you and what ages? Quote Link to comment
UKCacheMag
There will be 4 of us range from about 30 to 65 Trying to find something that not too easy but not too challenging....nice views river etc sound good, prefer a flat path as opposed to fields in case of bad weather. Thanks for all comments so far folks. Quote Link to comment
tedwin
Why not try the canal series starting at Bottom Lock GCVT7G near Warwick Parkway Quote Link to comment
Bear and Ragged
Warwick search around from IT'S DEAD AROUND 'ERE, AINT IT? GC122VW GC.com brings in 11 caches on the map. I've done 7 of them (2 not available at the moment) 2 are puzzles -multi's walk around the town (Might be fun for a group, they both involve looking around for signs and things!), Brown Bridge should be worth-while. Wedding present chase is across the racecourse -may be muddy! *slight spoiler* Joust a minute is further out of town, than it's shown on the map. ie well out of town! The two puzzle/multis are well worth printing off a map of the waypoints! Load the GPX file into http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/map_input?form=google edit to add Also some Waymarks around the town -not too far from the caches- and not McD's! +JimJinks
Im thinknig of the one in Jephsons Gardens.... As the two at Jephson Gardens are mine, I of course recommend them . Do Spa Trek 1 & 2 first, then JGs, the Spa Trek 3 Quote Link to comment
