Clan Riffster
Hi guys, I've got a couple locations in mind that are simply dying for a Wherigo cache. I've played with the Builder, and got the results to work on the Emulator, but I think I would be remiss in my duties as a cache owner if I didn't confirm the cartridge's success in the field. My problem? I don't own any hardware capable of running a cartridge out yonder. I know I can get folks to beta test a standard multi/puzzle cache by simply giving them the starting coords prepublication, but I don't know if it's possible to have someone beta test a Wherigo. Can this be done? If so, how would I go about it? Thanx! Quote Link to comment
Ranger Fox
It's possible to beta test a Wherigo cartridge. Just build the cartridge in the Builder and email the cartridge file (gwc) to whomever will test it. You don't have to post it on the site. I am sure the rest of the community will appreciate the testing. Quote Link to comment
+MickEMT
I can test a cartridge on the Colorado. I'd need the "raw" files though so I can change the coords to my preset "test area" set. Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
Thanx for the info! I've decided that, since I want to play this game, I'm just gonna have to make the leap and buy a Wherigo friendly unit. Colorado or Oregon.... Hmmm... Quote Link to comment
matejcik
Colorado or Oregon.... Hmmm... well, if your cellphone is sufficiently smart... nudge nudge, wink wink Quote Link to comment
