+drbadskwerl
Hello All, I had a very frustrating moment with my Magellan 500 tonight. When I cache and mark caches as found and then switch to a different set of geocaches (through the active map ---> geocache ---> do you want to make this map active) it 'forgets' all the caches I have found when I switch back to the previous (ie - all the green boxes that once had check boxes over them are now just plain ol' green boxes). What can I do? By change 'maps' I mean changes the downloaded geocache lists through the 'active maps' menu... not actually changing the detailed/background map. Help?! Quote Link to comment

+drbadskwerl
a Triton 500? or explorist? Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's an explorist 500. Quote Link to comment
+Starruby
I have the same problem with my eXplorist 600, though it doesn't necessarily drop ALL the found caches. Watching for any solutions .... Quote Link to comment
+ace862
Mine does that alot of the time too. I have found that even turning the unit off and then back on can cause it to forget found caches. It's a minor annoyance when I'm out caching. I'll just mark them as found again if I notice it. In the long run, it doesn't really bother me because the whole file will usually be replaced at a minimum every other day when an updated PQ comes in. Quote Link to comment
