Georesolution is to:

1: Contribute back to the community (teaching, mentoring, putting out caches).

2. If possible, make another 500 finds this year.

3. Get my toddler Granddaugher involved in some finds.

4. Cache in Alaska, if at all possible!

Happy New Year - one and all!

My Top Ten 2009 geocaching resolutions are:

1. Find 4000th cache.

2. Improve my GEOKARMA to 4.0

3. Finish the Kansas Delorme and Kansas County and Kansas ABC Challenges

4. Put on a geocoin event in the spring

5. Introduce a new Kansas sunshine geocoin for 2009

6. Get healthy so I can cache more

7. Visit the Galapagos Islands and find a cache south of the equator

8. Put on a newbie Geocaching 101 event for a group

9. Fix up all my existing caches so they are better than ever

10. Encourage at least 3 new cachers to place new caches in the area

My Geocaching Resolutions are:

1. Find as many caches as I can, hopefully completing all in my area.

2. Obtain as many gecoins as I can.

3. Meet as many cachers and coiners as I can.

4. Go to at least one event.

5. Produce at least the artwork for my personal coin by the end of the year.

6. Pick up a new GPSr if TPTB here at home will agree :)

7. Host a cointest to start paying back and paying forward for all the great cointest I have participated in and a few that I have won in.

8. Put out all the caches that I already have ready to go out (about 12)

9. Bring my daughter on more cache finds.

10. Find a cache outside Canada which should be easy enough if I go visit the in-laws in Florida.

OK, the year is coming to a close, and it's time to start thinking of setting some goals to reach in the new year. I will award some Coin Prizes by random draw for all posts in this thread.

The Prize Coins are still undetermined.

The number of prizes is still undetermined(more than 5).

You may post as often as you like(but not twice in a row).

Entries end at Midnight on December 31(according to the time in my forum clock).

Any resolutions in this thread should relate to GeoCaching/GeoCoins.

Drawings will be sometime in January.

That's pretty simple. In keeping with the old "Mail Order" Disclaimer...Please allow 6-8 weeks for shipping. Just so that no one gets upset that their prize hasn't arrived quiclky enough. Thanks for playing, let's have some fun. Your resolutions can be serious or silly, but should be clean and fun.

My GeoResolution for 2009 is to reach a total find count of 1000 Geocaches!

;) My resolution for 2009 is to cache more...for the exercise...complete my turtle geocoin collection and release a geocoin of my own.

In 2009 I resolve to:

1) Find 400 caches by June 27th and 500 by Dec 31st.

2) Design my own geocoin.

3) Ignore all lamp post hides.

4) Place an Earthcache.

5) Finally get those two ammo cans out from under the desk and hide them.

6) Release a TB in such a way that it will never be lost/stolen

7) Find that one micro that is only 5 miles from the house but that I've never been able to find

I started caching on 8/10/08, and am currently sitting at 140 finds (not counting 18 benchmarks). By the time I hit my one year anniversary, I would like to be sitting at 365 finds (including benchmarks, if necessary). In other words, for my first year of searching, I want to average at least one find per day.

Besides the other one I named earlier;

* Wrap up the Medicine Spirit Series (yes Andrea, Sacred bear, lol).

* Complete the 4 new and all different Earth Turtles designs

* Eat less nutella

* And one huge surprise which will require some serious dedication to complete by end of year.

* Be meaner and less helpful :D

* Stab (not stab, that sounds kinda super mean, what I mean to say is poke gently :D) dorkfish in the leg (not real hard) with my marshmallow stick at Champoeg :D
