+wild-wildbill
Here’s a strange one. A few months ago I wrote a cartridge and tested it, uploaded it, downloaded it, then played it again. It worked great. After receiving some reports I went out and tested it again. I used the builder and made a new GWC file, loaded it into my C 400t and it ran well. I then uploaded it to the Wherigo site and then downloaded back into my player and it crashed (turned itself off at the first input). I then renamed the working copy and tested them side by side. The cartridge does not work if it was downloaded from the Wherigo site, it does coming strait from the builder. Any ideas? Why did this not happen a few months ago? What changed recently on the Wherigo.com end? What is Wherigo doing to the uploaded code? Quote Link to comment
+MickEMT
OK, that's different! Two possible problems; 1 Did you publish the cartridge for ANY player or just the "default setting" of Pocket PC? 2 Are you using the most up to date version of the builder? Quote Link to comment
+wild-wildbill
I'm using the default upload. I know the choices are PC, Colorado, Any for publishing to my machine (when are they going to update the builder to include Oregon and nuvi) but I don't have the choice with "publish cartridge". I do however publish using the Colorado to my machine. Quote Link to comment
