vista hcx and topo gb v2 map

ok i went the whole hog and brought the v2gb topo map

loaded and unlocked then installed onto vista unit

 

my question how do i change the colour of the map from yellow to green /white on my vista unit ???

when i veiw the maps on mapsource they display just like a normal os map white with shades of green is there a way to replicate this on my garmin vista ???

only reason im asking is that i find the manual baffling and i find that the yellow colour make the map screen a little hard to view as it all seems to contrast too much if that makes sence ???

You can change the menu/interface colors but this won't help you. You do have the option of setting the colors for marine use & daytime/nighttime color mode. You may want to try one of these as it may help...but likely not.
