+redsuspenders
Recently, I hid a multi near the resort we stayed at in Punta Cana. Unfortunately, the reviewer says my maintenance plan isn't good enough to ensure the cache survival. So I am looking for someone in the area who caches, or at least has a GPS who would be able to maintain this cache if needed. The final has room for 250+ logs, and is secure and watertight, but apparently that is not good enough to get it listed. Someone help please. Quote Link to comment

Your local maintainer doesn't even have to be a geocacher (even though I disagree with this). Looks like there's only 20 caches in the whole Country, and this reviewer doesn't mess around. The only caches listed near Punta Cana are Earthcaches. From looking at the 20 listings in the Country This guy is probably the only native geocacher in the Country, and is listed as maintaining someone else's vacation cache; you might try contacting him. +Viajero Perdido
Give it up. I'm learning the hard way that vacation caches suck - there's a really good chance they're missing. I've got a whole stream of DNFs from Mexico, Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic to prove my point. Grumpy in Managua, VP Quote Link to comment
