Skuits
Hello all, I was wondering how I can download multiple caches in my area? In other words, I'd like to download a lot of caches so when I go somewhere I can turn on my GPS and choose a cache near me. Is that what a pocket query will do? Thanks, Mark Quote Link to comment

+trainlove
Without having to become a Premium Member you could download 20 caches at a time from any search page by clicking the buttons at the bottom of the page. Your GPS's software should be able to use the *.LOC files, but if not then just get EasyGPS from the resources link on geocaching.com. Of course all you get from LOC files are coordinates, cache names, and GCnumber, plus maybe one or two minor things. PQ's on the otherhand will give you everything that's on each cache page, and you are not limited to 20 at a time, 500 is that limit per single PQ, and you can do 5 of those a day.
