+Happy Humphrey
Having tried, recently, to close never ending threads I wish that: I'm not wishing to wind you up, I'm just curious: so this is a genuine question. Why would you want to close a thread (never-ending or not), rather than just ignore it? I really have no idea. As an example, here's a thread that is probably the type that you're worrying about, as it is currently 5 pages and has dragged on since early October. Why would you try to close it? I simply have a glance (at most), then ignore it if it's not of interest. Quote Link to comment

Being a "UK citizen" your post was obviously far to long for him to read fully and therefore understand the question in the limited time available to him . Quote Link to comment
