Forgive me, as a relative newcomer to this forum, if this has been done before.

 

Anyway Staples are selling off little spiral bound notepads at 29p. They fit perfectly into the smaller Tesco or even smaller Waitrose storage/foodboxes.

 

Every little helps....

 

So how do you save the pennies?

I used to use Tesco value jotters for logbooks, 18p each! But I've found they fall apart rather easily.

 

Lukcily I have my own stash of free waterproof screwtop containers that I rescued from a food packing job I used to do. Small biros and pencils for my caches come from Argos and Ikea respectively.

 

Swag is usually unwanted souveniers my parents bring back from weekends away!

Cheapest I've seen is a roll of paper in a plastic bag. I'd rate that as even cheaper than a 35mm canister, since you don't even have to go to the chemist and beg for some.
