+opy1
I found a place during my last holliday and it's a beautifull spot with a terrific view AND an beautifull work of artistic sculpturing. It's a long way from my home (> 100 miles). I would like to post a cache at this place but won't be able to maintain it. I've done caches before where I have to take a picture and answer some questions but i don't know how to make such a cache. Who can help me on my way to help people get to this beautifull spot. Regards Jan from Team Opy1 Quote Link to comment

Regards Jan from Team Opy1 What you refer to is called a virtual cache. They are no longer a valid cache type. The virtuals that exist at the time of the changer were grandfathered and are allowed to stand. The best you can do now is a waymark over on waymark.com. Quote Link to comment
+Super_Nate
I would like to post a cache at this place but won't be able to maintain it. If you have a family member, or know of another cacher in that area who would be willing to maintain the cache for you, then it is more likely to get published. It would have to be a physical container because virtual caches are no longer allowed. The only type of virtual cache that is still allowed is the earthcache. Quote Link to comment
+Bad_CRC
not every spot needs a cache. find a nice spot closer to your home for a cache you can maintain. Quote Link to comment
+sportside
As mentioned before, if it is a must see spot, just Waymark it. I usually look to see what waymarks are around where I am going, never know what you might have missed... Quote Link to comment
