Say I use the mark key and set a waypoint, it starts with 001. The next one is 002 and so on. After I no longer want those waypoints, I delete them all. Then when I mark a new waypoint it starts numbering from where it left off, not from 001 all over again. I want to be able to set the unit to start numbering at 001, but can't figure out how to do this. Anyone have the answer?

I never heard of that before. If it were me, I would call tech. support.

Mark a waypoint, rename 999 and hit ok. the next waypoint you make will be 001 again.

or add waypoints via mapsource then it'll restart.

You can change the number at any time. If you hit "mark" and the number is something you don't want, just use the center pad to highlight the number, hit "enter", then change it to what ever you want.

Or you can just mark a waypoint and name it 001. The next one you mark will automatically be named 002.
