+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
This cache page shows the account of my inadvertant brush with the law yesterday. I am sure the constabulary will be happy to know I am now safely back in Dorset and will not darken the streets of London again for at least a week BTW, it is a cracking cache thoroughy recommend it to all! Sounds like something I would end up doing too...lol I can't believe you told them you were looking for aliens ....Scarey situation to be in at the time I'm sure but it made me smile when I read your log. +Dorsetgal & GeoDog
I can't believe you told them you were looking for aliens ...believe you me, neither can I! I was so cacking it, that I was blurting anything out by that stage! I am frankly surprised I gave them the right name! Quote Link to comment

+Tarot
Hi D&G What a great story, it was such a good read. I’m glad it all turned out well and you got your things back. If you are a Podcacher listener, you should send them your story. They will have to reset the DWAB counter (Days Without A Bombscare) Regards Tarot Quote Link to comment

+The Cache Hoppers
OMG Wendy!! It just goes to prove you should not be let out alone! That bit of paper an' all - it does look very incriminating to the untrained caching eye Looks a great cache too - I might have to make a special effort to get into the big smoke and have a crack at it. +drdick&vick
As humerous as the tale may be it only shows that when in London you have to be ultra careful not to leave bags behind. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Man, I hate when that happens. Quote Link to comment
+drdick&vick
what, when you leave a bag behind or when somebody like me makes that kind of statement Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
what, when you leave a bag behind or when somebody like me makes that kind of statement When you forgot your pack and go back to retrieve it and find the area blocked off and the bomb squad inspecting the bags contents for invasion plans and the rest of your terrorist Gx network. +mumbo jumbo
Glad it all worked out in the end Wendy. Of course, it's not the only time you've encountered the rozzers on a caching day. Part 1 and Part 2</a The common theme seems to be the absence of GeoDog! matbe there's a lesson to be learned there... mj Quote Link to comment

In fact I was at an event today and saw two cyclists wearing fluorescent jackets and muttered, "Oh nooooo, not the rozzers, again" In fact t turned out not to be them, so all was well. Now I recall, the a rozzer stopped me two weeks into my caching career, at a cache in Hyde Park! Edited October 11, 2008 by Dorsetgal & GeoDog Quote Link to comment
+Darac
Don't worry, you won't be the first to have caught the police's attention on this very cache. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...a0-35ef97c44ac8 Shortly after this, the police contacted GAGB and there was a period of ensuring the security of caches within London. I suspect those pesky aliens have something to do with it... Quote Link to comment
+Bambography
This was one of the best logs that has fallen into my inbox in recent months! I'm pleased that it all worked out ok, but that piece of paper is brilliant! Something totally innocent yet soooooo guilty in the wrong context! Thanks for sharing the experience!! +vw_k
Fantastic story! Reminds me of the time I was spotted by an off duty policeman when I was dressed in black with a camoflage backpack searching for a cache in bushes in a church carpark! Quote Link to comment
