loudy13
Can anyone tell me if the Palm Tungsten C is a good canidate for paperless caching? Thank you Quote Link to comment
trainlove
Yes. Even the original Palm with only 2Megs of RAM can be used for paperless caching. I use a Tungsten T3. Have a 2Gig SD card in it. For software I use GSAK and Plucker to view the exported HTML on the Palm. Probably could use something else but I like this. Quote Link to comment
space_man
I got the Tungsten E and i cant use it with Vista 64... So make sure your Palm and Vista do work togher.. Unless someone figured out a way to make them work.. Alex Quote Link to comment
CBT69
I have a Tungsten C, and I love it. you need the PC interface cable, Spinner, and Plucker Desktop. That's all you really have to get setup, to go paperless and love it. Having all caches in an area searchable by ID, waypoint, or proximity is a REALLY nice feature that Plucker gives you. +Lt.Ranger.Bob
I have one that I use with GSAK and CacheMate on Windows XP and Vista. It works fine but I am in the process of moving toward using my BlackBerry Curve. Quote Link to comment
Klemmer
Cachemate is awesome. Works perfectly on my Palm Tungsten T3. Also GSAK makes uploading PQ's to the Palm lots easier. All XP, works great. Won't touch Vista with a 10 foot pole, home or office (of 25 people). Quote Link to comment
