Feature Request - Groundspeak Weekly Notification

A feature request for the Groundspeak Weekly Notification

 

Include the cache size and Difficulty/Terrain Ratings for each new cache.

 

Example:

 

99. This New Cache (Traditional Cache) (GC9Z999) (Regular) (1.5/1.5)

Location: British Columbia, Canada (10.6mi N (17.1km N))

Date: 9/28/2008 by cacheowner

 

This would make it easier to decide which caches to hunt from the weekly notification without having to open every link in the email.

My philosophy is: Reading the cache page of a cache you are going to search for is ALWAYS A GOOD THING. However, even I would not suggest Fuzzywhip should read a page for a cache that is going to be ignored. That's the way I read this request.

Notice that Fuzzywip didn't ask for the coordinates to be included in the email....so clicking the link is still required to hunt.

 

I think its a good idea because it will save time for non-premium members to figure out which ones to hunt or not.

It would also reduce load on the server.

Why would they want that? If somebody for example only does traditional caches, and no puzzles, why would they need to look at all the puzzle cache pages?

 

I think it's a good idea to add this!
