+Kreiselkompass
I urgently need support for my travel bug "Rollo, the guinea pig" that is placed in a cache called "Lost Peak" in the middle of nowhere nearby Salt Lake City. This cache is only vistited 1 or 2 times a year , so it might take ages for the TB to get away from there. Can anybody help? Quote Link to comment
+ShowStop
Link for Lost Peak cache: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=gcwt69 Normally I would suggest emailing the owner, but they haven't been online in over a year. That area will be cold and covered with snow real soon, so the window to make a find this year is closing fast. The TB might have to ride out the winter in the cache. A good first start would be to post on the cache page with your request for somebody to rescue the TB. You might also consider posting on the UTAG forum to see if anybody there can help you out. http://www.utahgeocachers.com/ Quote Link to comment

+PlumNuts
I get to Salt Lake quite often. If I get there again I will head up that way weather and time permitting. You may be too late to retrieve this one as we have already had our first snowfall and more is expected soon. Our temperatures have been in the teens and twenty's in the mountains at night so if snow is on the ground, it is not melting anytime soon. I have never cached in that area because of the ruggedness but others from UTAG (Utah Geocachers) have. Your cache is located by Alta and Brighton Ski resorts. Here is a webcam link of Alta and the area. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=2271991&nid=524 Quote Link to comment
+firennice
With this weekend being events in southern utah and ogden, and next week being halloween, and the high mountain terrain i would bet it is trapped for winter. Quote Link to comment
