lorca.nl Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 As you can see, Wyatt Earp is patiently waiting for the mailman to bring him its package By all the spots on the window and the wall paper hanging from the wall, I hope it will arrive very soon OHHHHHHHHHHHHH how sweet is this Quote

+geosmurfan65 Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Attempt no 2! We went to the post office today to pick up what turned out to be a big package all the way from Canada!! I don't remember ordering anything from Canada, and definitely not this big, so I assume that this is my Santa's mission package. Going through the posts in this thread, I have found a nick with the same town in his/her/their profile... Anyway, the package will sit here until the other two packages (for Mr geosmurf and Miss geosmurf) have arrived (or until I run out of will power! ) In the meantime, maybe the sender could confirm via e-mail or PM if this is in fact a mission package? Then, and only then, will I update our progress status. Camilla (trying not to jump to conclusions this time! ) Quote

+Eclectic Penguin Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 I sent my parcel out well over a week ago now - However I actually had to double back to the post office to remind THEM that a customs declaration was needed for the parcel.... Hmm. I hope this works out... Quote
+Li-Z Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I received my santa's Mission!!!!!!! All the way from Maine, USA. It is going to be so difficult to wait untill Christmas before opening the package! One of my cats, Mizuki, was curious as well: she tried to open the package with her teeth! Had to tell her that this was not the pet's mission yet... In an attempt not to think about opening the package I started searching this thread to find out who my 'secret' Santa could be. I could find only one name from Maine with a 'package sent' update, so I think the Maine family would be a good guess If I'm right: thank you for the christmassy looking box! (still haven't opened it and trying to wait...) Quote
+Li-Z Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) To keep myself from opening the Santa Mission I received, I decided to start making my own two missions ready for sending. It took me quite a while to pack everything, so I hope customs won't open it ;-) Anyway, this was the result: Mission 1 ready to be sent Mission 2 ready to be sent as well http://img.geocaching.com/user/9afbc39d-db...628cbf636c3.jpg I took them to the postoffice this afternoon and send them with priority post. So I guess the receivers will get the missions early and will have a hard time waiting to open as well! Of course you can always spread it: open one little package every 3 or 4 days untill Christmas Or just open it straight away off course, that's up to you! But who will be the receivers of these missions???? Edited November 16, 2008 by Li-Z Quote
