YEA! We got our Pet mission today! Thanks to Sweetlife and Bella the Parrot!

The picture is terrible (sorry), but the hounds got lots of chewys and treats and TOYS!!! We got a Bella parrot coin and a Sweetlife MWGB 08 coin! Thank you sooo much!

Oh and they made a homemade card with our hounds' picture on it! too cool!

Well darn, I was going to mail off a package today but forgot the Post Office was closed here in the States due to Veteran's Day...maybe that's because I WAS WORKING today....I dont' understand how there are "federal" holidays but we still have to work! grumble grumble grumble!

Attempt no 2! :grin: We went to the post office today to pick up what turned out to be a big package all the way from Canada!! I don't remember ordering anything from Canada, and definitely not this big, so I assume that this is my Santa's mission package. Going through the posts in this thread, I have found a nick with the same town in his/her/their profile... :anibad:

Anyway, the package will sit here until the other two packages (for Mr geosmurf and Miss geosmurf) have arrived (or until I run out of will power! :anibad: ) In the meantime, maybe the sender could confirm via e-mail or PM if this is in fact a mission package? Then, and only then, will I update our progress status.

I received my santa's Mission!!!!!!! :anibad: All the way from Maine, USA. It is going to be so difficult to wait untill Christmas before opening the package! One of my cats, Mizuki, was curious as well: she tried to open the package with her teeth! Had to tell her that this was not the pet's mission yet...

In an attempt not to think about opening the package I started searching this thread to find out who my 'secret' Santa could be. I could find only one name from Maine with a 'package sent' update, so I think the Maine family would be a good guess :laughing: If I'm right: thank you for the christmassy looking box! (still haven't opened it and trying to wait...)

To keep myself from opening the Santa Mission I received, I decided to start making my own two missions ready for sending. It took me quite a while to pack everything, so I hope customs won't open it ;-)

Anyway, this was the result:

I took them to the postoffice this afternoon and send them with priority post. So I guess the receivers will get the missions early and will have a hard time waiting to open as well! Of course you can always spread it: open one little package every 3 or 4 days untill Christmas :anibad: Or just open it straight away off course, that's up to you!

But who will be the receivers of these missions???? :laughing:

I just had exactly the same experience at my local postoffice: explaining what the costs should be, what zone the destinations country was in and that a customs declaration was neccesary... :anibad:

Finamore Family Update

1 child mission mailed to Sweden today 11-15 (postoffice said 7-10days)

1 child mission going 2 states over waiting????

1 adult mission going to Canada waiting? (postoffice said 3-5days)

Received 1 Adult mission; waited over night then after a rained mob event. Kids were dissapointed & they just had to open it, me too. TWO BEAUTIFUL Belgium geocoins :laughing: !!!!!! Will post pictures when the rest come in. Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas tooooooo

All the goodies are in hand. One mission is domestic, so I'll send it off after Thanksgiving - it should arrive the first week in December. The other mission is international. I'll be traveling to that country next week and hope to post it domestically from there to save some time and $.

Team Fehling's Update:

We will be shipping out our packages next week, right before Thanksgiving. 2 are staying in the states and will be shipped out Priority. The other is going to Canada, and it will not take long for it to get there.

We are having a ball watching everyone receive their packages!!! It's soo exciting.
