I received my package today, from T Summers - and I am struggling not to open it before Christmas... but Christmas is soooooooo far away!!! Please?! (At least I think this is the Santa mission?!?!) Camilla (geosmurfarna) It's possible that this is the Santa Mission - your sender has definitely sent it...... but the name T Summers is not on my list..... mmmmmmmmmmm Actually, if it is YOUR Santa Mission, it must have been rocket propelled. I suggest you peek..... as I don't think it is a Santa Mission. I know your mission is on it's way and has some distance to travel..... but unless Santa himself picked it up, and parachuted it down on his way home north, ...... well peek! Do let us all know..... You are holding us all in suspense..... Edited November 12, 2008 by Butterfly_lady Quote

So I sneaked a bit more, only to see that it was NOT my mission - it was another coin that I bought (and completely forgot about! ) Sorry about the false alarm! +Butterfly_lady Posted November 13, 2008 Author Posted November 13, 2008 The first time is always the scarest and I would hate to be one that messed up Christmas. Not while Santa is watching. I'm a little bit scared too about the fact that the recipients will be happy with their gifts. It's the first time we participate in a mission and we joined in for 3 of them, one in each category. So this means 3 receipients to be worry about except perhaps for the Pet one Can't wait to receive the first package. We'll try to wait until Christmas's Eve to open them unless written otherwise HO HO HO A word of advice - Don't compare what you send with what you receive. Everyone has different levels of disposable income. Some can afford heaps and it gets them great pleasure to spend. Others make a little go a long way. What is important is the contact that you are making, the sharing of Christmas across borders. Often it is the small things that are appreciated. BTW - Who you send to, will not be the same person who you will receive from, so actually there is no comparison! RELAX AND ENJOY! Quote

Lucky you I now wonder if I will be able to wait until Christmas to open our 3 missions. It would be best to send them regularly HO HO HO Quote

+mousekakat Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Ahhh, mamma gave in! Amidst lots of paper flying, little girls squealing, and ooohs and ahhs we received a totally wonderful package from Kernow! It was SUPPOSED to be a small one between the girls, but someone got carried away . The kids received some really cool colors, dinosaurs, bath toys, a puzzle that has Hanna totally frustrated (hehehehehehe), chocolates, postcards, pencils, homemade cards and a ton of other wonderful things... Including the one object that made Hanna scream and jump up and down in place for a good 5 minutes, a PINK geo-jewel, our first time to see one in this house and lemme tell ya, if you haven't gotten one yet, I strongly advise you to do so, these things are SO COOL! I thought it would feel plasticky, but no, it feels like smooth glass! Then she got a coin that made MAMMA squeal since it's been one that Mamma has wanted for a long time, a Noah's Ark coin, this thing is just gorgeous and so perfect for a child, especially the child of someone studying to be a priest! She got a cute little teddy bear with a Kernow flag and one of Hogwild's travelling coins, the one with the "feet," and lastly, another coin that Mamma has had her eye on, one of the Cornwall 2008 coins, really, really cool! Thank you so much Kernow Cachers for treating my girls so wonderfully and making them so happy! Naomi :D Quote

Thank you for all the kind words Anne.
