Count me in here for one :D

Question, Hanna might want to participate, BUT... if she does, I'd want her to exchange with another kid and I'd like for her and the other kid to do their own packages, IE, decorate themselves and make their own cards and keep it really cheap. Shipping to the US is pretty expensive, so is shipping from there to Sweden, so if someone wants to do a simple package that their kiddo does themself, let me know!

So... one for me and one possibly for Hanna :D

I am matching kids with kids;

pets with pets;

adults with adults.

For others - there is a group that wants to send to the US only - that is matched. But you may receive a package from anywhere else! :):D:D

It is not an exchange one for one.... but rather you will be given a name to send to...... and you will receive something, but it will most likely be from another person than the one you send to...... all adds to the fun! :D

Now - that's three main groups (isolated from each other) and one special request group.

This is all being sorted by using a database / spreadsheet.

Unfortunately I cannot meet special requests for any one recipient, as it will require locking down part of the database.

It will just take one re-sort to lose that request..... :D stress :D

Mousekakat - I still need your mailing address if the :D are going to deliver to you.

Please email me.

Oh, both Cinnabear and I would love to do this mission as our first mission from Australia! I am glad we have until Oct. 23 to sign up because that give our geocoin collection some more time to float into Freo harbour....right now we have no coins at all!

GG - when the time gets closer, you & I can do a deal that will see you still included.

If the coins have not arrived by Oct 23rd, please still participate....

It should only take a week for a small envelope with 2 to 4 coins to get to you from New Zealand, and you can send something to cover later......

It would be a pity for you to miss out...

BTW - some good caches around Freemantle - I had two DNFs there!

GG.. Gosh girl..no coins..how sad. I'll bring you some! 28 days til I leave for Aussie. I see you soon! :D

I will be sending my mission box out after I get back from Australia. I'll have to pick up some nice Aussie trinkets. If whoever I get seems to be waiting forever, be patient, it will be coming before Christmas, I promise. I'll even Fed ex if I have to. Jodi

Ah :):D you ladies are so nice and with the Christmas spirit already in October!

It has been extremely hard with no coins, but especially no mailbox! I have some coins that I've purchased and are waiting for an address to send them to and also some trades. All of the records that I kept for this are in our old computer hard drive which we have but we have no computer to put it back into until that darn shipment arrives!

Until then, I have a ton of stuff to do...buying a house hold of stuff is a lot more fun than trying to get rid of it all! And learning to drive on the left is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I am getting there.

Does this mean that it's possible for someone who refuses to post an international package to receive one?

That seems a bit unjust :D

Well, I guess yes - what it means from my point is that I am NOT adding to my work load to accomodate MORE special requests. I'll think about it. As most participants are from US, then the chances are...... well you work it out.

Whilst I can see what you folks are trying to say, frankly it it Butterfly Ladys' mission and she should be free to run it as she thinks fit :D

Christmas is a time for giving, and I really don't mind if my package goes to someone who for some reason has chosen not to send out of their own country; particularly bearing in mind the cost of international postage may prohibit some folks from taking part. Personally, I love to receive packages from abroad, but whatever comes will be just fine :D

Butterfly_Lady,

One sorry two corrections both Fredhead and Queenie-Boo-Bay are Children, although not always acting that way sometimes it seems younger.....

They have the new coins picked and hope to get additional swag at Coinfest 2008 this weekend.

Just got back into this thread and WOW!! I hate to be thought of as a scrooge B) or worse! :D

For us...we always participate X 2 in missions and for awhile there all our missions were international, to be able to continue we needed to give our wallet a break for a bit on postage costs, we certainly are not trying to offend anyone! :)

We know the feeling usyoopers, that is why we chose this time to only be in the USA for exchange this time, Why was this published anyways, isnt this supposed to be a suprise X-Mas Exchange. With not to many people being only in USA trades this doesnt look like it would be alot of fun. We pretty much know who we are going to be getting, not that it is a bad thing or anything. Never seen a mission like this before. :( Hope someone elmails us and lets us know what is happening here and can explain a little about what is happening with this mission. :( We dont have a good feeling about this tho.

Oh dear - this is turning cloudy - but it's almost summer here.

Those who have asked to mail within the US only, will be given a recipient from the US.... but note that over 50% of participants are from the US, so it is not likely to be to someone who has also asked for a US only recipient....

I have a lot of work to give the elves at the end of month.

They will be checking it twice, thrice and double thrice, before passing onto Santa.

christmas-animation-34.gifPlease trust the elves!

Keep those mission emails rolling on in....
