+twinfly
I have an idea for an earthcache that would be on a university campus. Do I need permission from someone? Who would I ask? What is the likelyhood of being denied permision if I do need permision? Thanks for the help twinfly Quote Link to comment
XC_Tracker
I'd talk to the groundskeeper first. If they agree they might have additional contacts for you to contact. Edited September 26, 2008 by XC_Tracker Quote Link to comment
+BiT
Yes, you need to get permission from the college or university, I have two on college campuses. The Ohio State University: That Building is Built of 40 Types of Ohio Stone Ohio Wesleyan University: A College Birth & A Presidential Romance At OWU, I went through the Administration Department and at Ohio State I went through the Geology Department and the Administration Department. +Juicepig
I would suggest asking a geology professor - he would likely be enthusiastic about the idea, and know how to "work the beurocracy" for you. He might even have some suggestions for improvement, or additional ECs in the area Quote Link to comment
