Isonzo Karst
So I notice that there's a spiffy new graphic this morning on disabled caches. And no map. On disabled caches, I like this. But I also see the same X no map on caches with Needs Maintenance logs. I'm not too sure that this is a good idea. At the least, if that's the way it's going to be, the weekly mailer needs to open with a "how to clear the NM Icon". The number of cache owners with no idea how to is staggering, and the number of silly NM logs posted...... Link to comment
StarBrand
Agree about the NM status - too many silly reason folks have used that one - I have got them for camera full. Rest area temp closed etc..... Link to comment
The Leprechauns
I am not seeing any changes. Can you please describe the feature change or post a screen capture? I also don't see an announcement about a maintenance release. Link to comment
Corey
It all looks the same now. Link to comment
Ilonka1980
I see this too. But this are no disabled or needs maintenance caches. In the Netherlands they see it randomly. Here an example: link Link to comment
Corey
I think I just saw it. It looks like an issue with Google Maps; the "staticmap" page is returning that image. Screenshots for the curious: My guess from the image is that some bandwidth limit has been exceeded. Edited September 25, 2008 by Corey Link to comment
JoenGPS
No maps for anything...! Link to comment
cheech gang
The above screen capture appears for me on ALL caches, regardless of status. Link to comment
luckycharmer
I'm also getting that for about half the caches but if you click on it the map appears. Link to comment
Isonzo Karst
Ah, so it's not a new graphic on Disabled and Needs Maintenance caches, it's an occasional error on random caches! I expect it'll get fixed sooner or later....... Link to comment
The Leprechauns
Ahh! Thanks to those above who solved the mystery and posted examples. I haven't seen a single instance of this error. In the past 24 hours, I've opened more than 400 cache pages, on three different computers, and using three different browsers. Guess I'm lucky! Link to comment
