It sounds like you'd like something like Visual Studio's IntelliSense and Visual Basic's live line-by-line checking. I don't know what else to say about that.

 

I thought about writing something so I can make cartridges in the Visual Studio IDE. However, I currently have another geocaching-related development project I need to complete before I can experiment with this.

Intellisense would be the ultimate.

 

For now, I would be happy to compile without exiting the Author Script Section and for the Builder to just tell me that a compile error exists and to just leave me to work it out.

 

This would speed development up immensely.
