+Rumpled
Back in August, I hiked to Mt San Jacinto as training for Mt Whitney (successful summit in Sept). On my way down, I looked for and found the azimuth mark for the San Jacinto triangulation station. It was right where it was supposed to be. My GPSr recorded 10563 elevation for the AZ, looks pretty close on two topo map sources. I'm just getting around to logging the recoveries from back then. I should be able to get to the Whitney recoveries within a week. (Got Klemmer's Dizkneeland puzzles to finish first) Not to do too much one-upping; but since Klemmer reported RM#2 first, I had to go beyond . I see from the picture thread that he's been hiking high recently as well. Good on ya! Since the tri station is also Waymarked, I'm thinking I'll Waymark this one as well. Well, here's the log San Jacinto Log Quote Link to comment
+Klemmer
Hi fellow SoCal BM'er 1) Nice going! The several times I have been up to San Jacinto, I was in no shape to look for the Azimuth, so good job! 2) You HAVE completed our Disney California Adventure (DCA) caches. I just emailed the confirmations 3) I never hike high! Klemmer Quote Link to comment

+Rumpled
I probably would have been better off saying that Klemmer was hiking up at high altitude. Don't want to come off implying something else. Quote Link to comment
+Klemmer
No worry. We had fun with it. Quote Link to comment
