Also, on your Profile page, from the links on the left side - Go to "Hide & Seek a cache", then green section "Seek a cache", near the bottom > "Search by Waypoint".

Have a look here for other useful information for new geocachers.

Not only, but also

http://gmscripts.locusprime.net/Add_Waypoint_Finder.html

Add Waypoint Finder

This script replicates the handy waypoint search box that you see on the Geocaching.com home page, to every other page on the site (except pages that already have a search box). And it goes the home page search box one better - you can also enter Travel Bug TBxxxxx IDs, and it will take you to that Travel Bug page (note, this ID is not the same as the tracking code).

If you use Firefox as your browser, you can get "Geocaching Waypoint" in the search engine bit at the top of the page!

How do you do that please?

Someone has to ask the difficult question!

I'm looking for it... Can't remember where I found it, I've had it so long!

These are waypoints, so on the main GC page down the bottom, you can search via waypoint.

I've always thought it's in a stupid place. It should be right at the top, I think.

I use an Add-On called OpenSearchFox that allows you to add any search box from any page you want.....very useful :D

This is the best search page (for my needs anyway): Geocaching Portal

and you can add shortcuts to GAGB forums, PQ page etc.

Hey, that's a neat little page. How on earth did you find that???

Someone posted a link to it somewhere, sometime... I have no idea when it was  . Good innit?
