+Dicksontwo
Help! Great instructions for uploading photos to Profile Gallery/geocache pages in the latest Groundspeak Weekly Notification. The Groundspeak Forum has instructions for Avatar creation (I think Avatar means one's own image on one's Profile). But nowhere can I find instructions for uploading a TB photo to it's main page. Every time I try the photo goes into the Gallery. Can someone please give me the instructions or tell me where I can find them. We have released our first TBs, they are models of unique Australian animals, so we think the photos are interesting and go with a bit of text info. Quote Link to comment
+IBcrashen
Edit your TB and it will have the option of images to use right below the name. Quote Link to comment
+trainlove
Edit your TB Yes, Edit it, not Log it. You, know, the place where you write what you want everyone to see when they look at your travel bug, and that includes a background photo. Quote Link to comment
+Belfrypotters
On the edit page is a link to upload images. On the upload image page is a check box to make the image the default image - if you want the picture to show on the TB's main page you need to check this box. Once you've done it a few times it's less confusing. Quote Link to comment
+Dicksontwo
Thanks to all your responses, I can now do it! I'm grateful to you. I suppose this ought to close the string but I don't know ow to do that either! Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Nah, leave it open. Someone might want to ask how to add a photo to the description part of the bug page. Quote Link to comment
Pickles4601
make sure that when you post a pic of your tb that you edit out the #. THat way unscrupulous cachers cant report your bug as found racking up false miles. Quote Link to comment
+Dicksontwo
Thank you Pickles 4601. Now I'm really going to show what a novice I am! I've looked for the # unsuccessfully. Can it be deleted retrospectively? If so, the steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, too, BlueDeuce. I'm happy with the string being left open. Quote Link to comment
