Ranger Fox Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Heads up! Just when I was beginning to think Garmin dumped the Colorado for the Oregon, they released new firmware today (though it's dated as September 11th). What the heck is "Added support for downloading geocaches written using Groundspeak v1.1 extentions"? [sic] Will we have cache attributes? More importantly, there does not look to be a Wherigo Player update bundled with this firmware. The Player version is 2.7 and Engine 2.11. Wish I had written it down before updating... Quote
+Geofellas Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 More importantly, there does not look to be a Wherigo Player update bundled with this firmware. I wonder though - Has this version reduced the maximum input string length in a Wherigo? When I originally wrote my Build your own GPSr I tested it on version 2.6 and was able to enter a string like N55 22.222 W079 33.000 But now I have upgraded to version 2.7 I can't enter more than N55 22.222 W079 33 Has anyone else noticed a change in the maximum length input string in a Wherigo cartridge with this update? I'm clearly going to have to change my cartrdge logic. Quote
Ranger Fox Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 Firmware 2.80 came out this evening (though it was dated four days ago). A Player upgrade was not listed in the changes, so I didn't bother creating another thread for the announcement. This marks a second update without a Player upgrade. Quote

Make that three - 2.90 is out now. Wherigo engine is still 2.11 Quote
+JJG10101 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Hmmn. I don't see it on the 400t "updates & downloads" page. Is 2.9 for all Colorado models? Quote
