Newbie looking for inexpensive unit

Hey everyone I live in AZ. I just learned about geocaching and thought it would be a great activity to do with my kids (4) unfortunately I do not have a unit or a lot of cash. I am also hoping to do this with the Boyscout troop that I run. If anyone has a smoking deal or knows where i can get an easy to use unit cheap please let me know.

it just depends on your taste, personally i like garmin.
