Non Geocoin

Picked up two coins at a cache yesterday. Just found out one is a geocoin, but the other was from site named pathtags.com

 

Not sure what to do with it, I just hate to sign up on some other site just to log one tag (so they are called)., then have to move it to another cache..

 

Or just sneak it back to the cache tat i retrieved it from..

Pathtags may be kept as swag and still logged in at pathtags.com

Well, as far as I know the pathtags are for keeps, they are not trackable. The number on the backside of the tag is to log that u found it, where u found it and where u live. Then the creator knows u found it and what u think of it...

 

If I am wrong feel free to correct me, I myself only got one pathtag, that´s all I ever saw

Yup they're both right, it's yours! Log it if you want, but you have to create an account on their site, so it's not required. They're not loggable here.

It seems that pathtags are the same as geocoins for traveling. Owner intent is what matters. That they are cheaper than full size geocoins hopefully means that more are swag.

PathTags are most definitely swag similar to a non-trackable personal coin They don't travel from cache to cache normally except as swag. There are a few PathTag carrying geocoins like the Sherpa, Blarney and Spy Geocoin that can transform a PathTag into a trackable geocoin though. Keep it and enjoy it or drop it in another cache for someone else to enjoy
