+FrodoB
Apparently we were attempting to push the envelope when we set up the event. We were not allowed to put the details of the 2 PM geocache event on the event description, other than to say it exists. So, here it is. There are ten brand new geocaches that will not be published until after the event. But, everyone that attends the event will get the cache info. Attendees will be divided into ten teams, each going first for a different cache. That way everybody will get one FTF! Since it is a meet & greet, the idea is to pair up new cachers with experienced cachers when the teams are formed. There is a premium for showing up on time at 2 PM, as being late means you forfeit your chance at the FTF, because... It is also a race. The first two teams back with all 10 geocaches found will get prizes, namely either a geocoin or one of the new WSGA lanyards. The 10 geocaches will all be within 1/2 hour driving from the meeting place - the Round Table Pizza, and three hours should be ample time to get them all. If you don't have street mapping on your GPSr, it would help to bring along a Thomas Guide. Looking forward to seeing all ya'll there. BoB Parry PS Chapter Rep. Quote Link to comment

FrodoB has come up with a cool contest - 10 new caches to find (by 9 different cachers), 10 FTFs up for grabs. And the weather looks to be excellent. Hope y'all can join us! Quote Link to comment
