+Metchosin_Knights
We are new at geocaching, and went up to this one viewpoint location that has a geocache (found it). I remembered that hubby quite a few years ago found this red tag set into rock nearby with white writing "GPS LOCATION ####" (#### represents actual numerical digits) prior to us even knowing what geocaching was. So I took pictures of it today and recorded the location. Is this something that people could search for as a geocache or a waypoint or some other category??? What is it? thanks (hopefully I have this in the correct topic area) reposting information again as my first post got messed? Quote Link to comment
southpawaz
It sounds like it might be some type of survey marker or benchmark. I'm not familiar with benchmark hunting in Canada, perhaps you would get a better answer if you posted with a picture in the benchmark forum. Quote Link to comment
