mongoose39uk
Congratulations, on the 13th August 2008 Mr.Dewdrop and Agrajag2007 did 104 caches in 15 hours on foot. Pretty amazing going, makes a change from some of the weird and wonderful requests that I receive. Bookmark Records page Quote Link to comment

Tarot
CONGRATULATIONS Mr.Dewdrop and Agrajag2007 This is a fantastic achievement and will surely take some beating. It was only after reading this story that I realized such a large series of caches was available to attempt the record. Does anyone know of other 100+ series of caches suitable for such a record? Once again congratulations on your achievement. Regards Tarot Quote Link to comment

mongoose39uk
Congratulations to Rodz as well, claiming both the most cycling and the most by a solo cacher in 12 hours, 106 and 84 respectively. Just waiting for: Luzian to email me his claim and the html for the stat bar for his claim for 75ftf's Dr. Solly for the most placed in a month Garyhoney? for the most consecutive days. +Simply Paul
To clarify the Doc's claim, they were placed over a few weeks, but all went live in August. I assume that still counts. Well done to Rodz and Luzian too Quote Link to comment
The Bongtwashes
To clarify the Doc's claim, they were placed over a few weeks, but all went live in August. I assume that still counts. Well done to Rodz and Luzian too You mean he didn't place them all overnight, and write up all the cache pages, I'm really disappointed . But the amazing thing is to set 110 caches and only to need to correct one set of coords (99.1% accuracy). Quote Link to comment
Gushoneybun
Well done to everyone, on all their records. It makes me feel like I really need to step up several gears! Quote Link to comment

T.R.a.M.P.
I just spotted this log at a nearby cache - 110 in one day - I feel kn*ckered just thinking about it! Congrats to all these records Quote Link to comment
drsolly
I'm very chuffed with the number of people attempting this series., and in particular with the number of people trying to do it in one day. When I set it, I did have in mind that people could try to do it in one day, but I didn't think anyone would go by bike, and I didn't think that 12 hours would be the best time (so far). An important point about the Chiltern 100, is that it's a marathon. 25 miles, or so. If you're moderately fit, you should be able to do it on one day, but it won't be easy. Recommendations from people who have done the route include: Don't wear shorts Start very early. Don't do it unless your feet are in 100% condition; if you start with a blister, you'lll end with a boot full of agony. Expect a few injuries (nettles, brambles, twists, sprains and other scrapes). Towards the end you'll be very tired. Which means you'll make more mistakes. Some mistakes are painful. Carry a decent torch - you might find that night falls and you still have a few to do. Plus all the usual caching recommendations. Well done to all the people who have done the whole thing! Quote Link to comment
