L&LFaubion
I would like some feed back on this idea. My wife and I do a lot of trail rideing and where possable we cach hunt also. Now the idea my wife had was to set up about 10 caches 2 mi. apart. This would make for a good days intertainment. Since we live in Az. there is no restrictions in our area up here on the Mogollon Rim where you can ride. We would move these caches every month or so to give the searchers new country to cover. In the winter we would also set up the same regimen down on the Sonoran desert close to where we spend the cold months. Please let me know what y'all think of this. These would also be in places that would accesabilty to a tall vechicle. My e-mail is lfaubion1@netzero.com Quote Link to comment
+AggieTeam
Check out the Shore to Shore geo-challenge series in Michigan. It is placed along a horse riding trail that stretchs from Lake Huron to Lake Michigan in Michigan's lower peninsula. It can also be done by vehicle. Quote Link to comment
+KidRipley
I have placed one of my caches with my horse, and plan a few more along an area that is popular with trail riders. I also take my GPS when we do MSAR training to try for a cache when possible. Oh and great idea, go for it. Quote Link to comment
XC_Tracker
MrGrubstake in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana has a series dedicated to his horses/mules and he does many of his mountain caches via horseback. We have hiked into some of these caches and WISH we had a horse to get us there. Caching by horseback sounds great to us! Quote Link to comment
